Pineapple Express As a new Fc in FF14 that has finally established itself in a very competitive gaming market, our mission is very simple. We wish to have fun playing this game. Some of us have been with the game from the start, others have migrated here from other MMO's and online games. Whatever the background of our players, the common thread that holds us together is a love of gaming. We will strive to experience all aspects of the game,
including all members in that experience.

Dungeons,Raids,Leveling, PVP; all of these aspects will be offered to our members as we grow. Help will always be offered to anyone wanting or needing it. Answers to questions will always be given promptly and accurately, and there is NO SUCH THING as a stupid question, so please ask whatever is needed to be asked to get the information you require. Bottom line: Enjoyment of the game is a priority. Helping our guild members is a priority. Making sure all members feel included is a priority. Keeping the guild drama free is a priority. There are some easy ways we hope to make this happen. "Rules" A list of rules and regulations will not appear here. there's one rule as such, that is: Don't be a dick. This includes demanding the time and attention of guild members unreasonably, being abusive to anyone in game, whether in guild or not. Simply put, treat others as you want to be treated, easy right? I hope so. While there are more structured "rules" that apply to operations and flashpoints, they will be outlined in their own sections of the site as required. While this rule is broad, and open to interpretation, using common sense will keep things on track. The officers and guild master's interpretation of this rule is however the only and final one that counts. That said, the input of all members is welcomed and will be sought for anything affecting the guild as a whole.

Conclusion Finally, some specific things. This guild values family first, and real life situations will always take precedence over the game, no exceptions. If a family situation arises that prevents a member from playing for a period of time, let the officers or GM know as soon as possible. This allows us to make any necessary changes, as well as offer any assistance we can to the affected member(s). There is a Paypal donation tab on the home page. This is for the defraying of the incidental costs of the guild, the site, the Teamspeak server, and any other expenses that we incur over the course of the year. Once a quarter an accounting of the donations, expenses and balance will be posted in the forums for members to see. (That's every 3 months, lol.) This is completely voluntary, donations are NOT required, but are appreciated, since spreading the expenses out makes for easier payment of the bills, however small they are. Raid groups will not be set groups, rather events will be scheduled for the guild, example Wednesday night at 7 pm is raid night. the first 8 people that show will be the ones in that night's group. The following raid night, new people will be chosen from the ones that show up. Basically, if you wish to raid, show up on the raid night with a toon capable of doing the content, and you will be raiding, if not that night definitely the next. If there is a scheduling issue that for example makes it impossible to reschedule for another night for you, the guild will be flexible in that regard to allow all to be able to raid.

This is important to me that everyone is included in this, and there is no "elite" clique forming in the guild or people that always are chosen for the raid group. That said, the group must be a viable one for the content, so some degree of flexibility on the toons that are brought to the raid is required; if we need a healer but you want to bring dps, some flexibility will be expected in that regard so we can field a viable group. Loot from raids will be distributed among the members present in the raid according to the class requirements of the gear, and the needs of the present members. The goal here is that all members get geared up more or less at the same time, so we all progress together, and no one is left hanging back with lesser quality gear. Events will also be scheduled for running hard mode flashpoints to get comms and gear to prepare members for operations as well, there should never be any reason for anyone to lack gear. All members are encouraged to offer input to the officers and GM, I am always willing to listen to suggestions, comments and criticism. Feel free to talk to me about any issues or improvements you might like to see in the future. See you all in game!
Ello everyone
